Questions You May Have
Are you a therapist?
I am not a therapist. I am a certified Forest Therapy Guide. This means I am certified to guide you in your forest therapy experience. We have a great saying that explains this dynamic well: "The forest is the therapist, the Guide opens the doors." We always trust the forest to provide whatever it is that you may need.

What should I bring?
One of the best parts about Forest therapy is letting go of responsibilities for a while. There isn't anything you need to bring, however, you may choose to bring some comfort items such as a water bottle, lip balm, tissues, sunglasses etc.
How should I dress?
During forest therapy, we generally move pretty slowly. We may find ourselves sitting against a tree or laying in the grass. In cold weather, please dress more warmly than you think you should. In warm weather, be prepared with sunscreen. In wet weather, a raincoat may be helpful. In all weather, having layers you can add or remove is a great way to be prepared.

I am differently abled. Can I still participate?
Forest therapy is for everyone and can be adapted to every level of ability. Before your session, you will be asked to complete a health form. Feel free to provide as much detail as you feel I need to create a safe and enjoyable experience for you.

What if I am injured during our session?
The likelihood of injuring yourself on a forest therapy experience is very low. In the even of a mishap, I am trained in Wilderness First Aid as well as CPR. I will be equipped with a suitable first aid kit.
