Forest Therapy...

a slow wander in the woods

a "bath" in the healing compounds of the trees

an invitation to slow down and become present

an awakening of the senses

the noticing of what is

a path towards wholeness and wellness

a call to rekindle your relationship with the natural world

a relational practice

a slow wander in the woods

What Is Forest Therapy

Forest therapy has its origins in the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku or Forest Bathing. In response to rising illness during the 80's tech boom, the Japanese government set out to discover the cause.

Health Benefits

Forest Therapy has been proven to regulate blood pressure, reduce stress hormones and increase our immunity boosting NK cells as we "bathe" in the beneficial compounds diffused by the trees.

What Happens During A Walk

Forest Therapy is more about "being here" than getting there. Through a series of invitations, you will be able to interact with nature in whatever way feels good to you on this slow wander through the forest.

Tyler Skinner, NS

This was a unique experience that would benefit anyone looking to retreat from the busy world in which we live to connect to Nature on a deeper, more personal level.

Jeff Steckley, ON

I had a deep sense of being welcomed by the natural space and now think of it as "home" rather than a space that I simply "walk through".

Jan Steckley, ON

Lori's leadership felt safe, comfortable and clear. I was able to sink into the experience with a clear sense of being held.
